Three weeks has come and gone and I haven’t had a chance to blog until now! Things have been incredibly busy IRL and in Second Life. This time of year always has us running in circles, it seems, so adding a new project to my never ending list of things I’d love to do was a daunting task, but I did it anyway. My hubs and I have been working really hard to transform my sim into a magical winter wonderland and it is finally open to the public. Come visit us at Frostmoor Rise if you can, we’d love to see you! I’ve been amazed at how many new people I’ve met and how much fun this whole thing has been. I can’t wait to see what we do next! Happy Monday! I know it’s a crazy week for a lot of us with Thanksgiving coming up on Thursday. I managed, or should I say, “mischief managed”, to get some SL time in earlier and that’s exactly where I ended up, Mischief Managed RP. I haven’t been to this sim in a really, really long time, but it’s as beautiful as I remember. Fortunately for me, non RPers are allowed onto the sim on Mondays to explore. I picked up this scarf during the weekend sales a day or two ago and it instantly put me in Harry Potter mode. If you can’t tell, I’m a Hufflepuff. Always have been, always will be! Till next time…

Hi you guys! So, the whole “I’m gonna post every day thing” was probably a little ambitious of me. I apparently forgot how much other stuff I have going on, especially this time of year. I know it’s been a couple days, but I’m here now! I had a little free time this morning, so I made a trip to Dubai to grab a couple things and I was able to catch Vic again at Wonderland 2.0. I really hate baseball. No offense to the baseball lovers. I grew up with a baseball brother, so I was constantly at baseball games when I was a kid. But I was given baseball as my theme for this blog post and I did my best. Baseball items are woefully lacking in SL, it seems. I did find this cool bat, which I can apparently hit people with. Today was a good day. I hope yours was, too. I almost forgot to do this twice today, but I’m here now. Earlier today I was able to catch Vic again, but I can’t remember where of course. She was amazing – again. I highly recommend you check her out. I mentioned her in my last blog post. Then later in the day I ended up at Templemore City for a couple hours before I remembered I needed to do my post for today.

I picked up the ice sk8 tings from high v. at Kustom9 this week. I cannot express to you how excited this AO makes me. I randomly wear roller skates or ice skates often and have this really old AO that I just have never upgraded, until now. These animations are amazing. I gotta learn how to do video or something. So I ended up at Winter Love Valley for a couple more snowy pics. Till next time…

I’m not sure if you know this or not, but there are only FORTY days left until Christmas! I hope you’re working on getting your Christmas gifties ready and your decorations in place. Don’t forget your Elf on a Shelf! I started feeling festive today for some unknown reason. I hadn’t planned on decorating irl this year and our sim is kinda stuck where it is..for now. Major changes may be on the way, tho. I think we may be turning it into a winter wonderland. So, in that spirit, I spent some time bouncing around some sims that are way ahead of the game! I found this adorable little town square area at Echoes of Snow and felt like it was the perfect place to snap a pic. I was also able to make a little trip to Kustom9 this morning and make a few purchases I most definitely didn’t need! Till next time…

Today I ventured out for some live music, which is one of my favorite things to do in SL. Victora Worbridge was performing at Wonderland 2.0, which was a new venue for me. Firstly, if you’ve never heard Victoria, you’re truly missing out. Her voice is as smooth as silk and I’m partial to the piano, so I couldn’t be in a happier spot. Secondly, this venue is full of sparkles, vibrant colored vegetation, and mystically magical mushrooms. Interestingly enough, I learned a new word today; Émerveillement, on Facebook of all places. It’s a French word that means wonder, enchantment. And that’s the same feeling I get in SL all the time. I know I’ve said this before, but you guys and your creativity always blow my mind. I find myself just standing in the same place and camming around, amazed. Just as I was finishing up this post, I started talking to someone at the show and of course I crashed and now I can’t find them. So, random person who msgd me, if you ever see this, I didn’t ditch you, my bad! Till next time…

Everyone that knows me knows that I’m obsessed with Lord of The Rings. I have read the books more times than I can count and seen the movies more than that. My absolute favorite thing to do on a Friday after work is roll up a joint and start Fellowship, Extended Edition, of course. A couple months ago, I saw a FB post about Bruchtal @ Star Light, and had to check it out. TPing in here feels like walking through a secret portal to Rivendell. Take the winding path down the side of the mountain to The Shire for Bilbo’s 111th birthday party. You can even set off fireworks. It’s truly a fantastical area and if you’re a huge LoTR nerd like me, you will probably love it, too. But even if you aren’t a LoTR fan, it’s really worth seeing. I have spent so much time exploring this area the past few weeks. Be sure to find the leaf boats by the waterfalls for some really great pics. I feel like I am always finding something I didn’t see before. Some of my best times in SL have been here. I hope you’ll enjoy exploring it, if you go. Till next time…
